While a private lender may not be the choice for everyone, it is the lender of choice for many real estate developers who want a strong working relationship with their lender, who want to deal with someone who has full knowledge of their business through extensive interaction and personal contact, and who values continuity. Many of today's largest developers began as clients of private lenders, and as they expanded became clients of large banking institutions.
A private lender may also be the lender of choice for individuals or companies just getting started who do not have an established credit line, or for those who are not deemed credit worthy by regular banking institutions because of past financial reverses.

We specialize in loans involving real estate. We deal in both residential and commercial ventures and our loans include those for the development and construction of single family homes, apartments, condominiums, office buildings, and shopping centers.
We also provide land loans for both the purchase of land in its raw form as well as advance money for subdivision development, including roads, water, and sewer. We are also available to provide interim financing for the purchase of both commercial and residential properties.

What are the terms of your loans?
Most of our loans are relatively short term ranging from six months to three years. However, we have the flexibility to provide both shorter and longer terms.
What is the cost of doing business with you?
Generally speaking, our rates are somewhat higher than those offered at a bank. However, our creativity in structuring complex and multiple property transactions, and our personalized services may not be available at a bank. Furthermore, with construction loans, the difference in costs can become negligible. We're there to make things happen, when you need them to happen.
What is your method of payment?
We offer the option of either interest only or interest and principal payable on a monthly basis.
How are your loans repaid?
Generally speaking, construction loans are repaid at the time of sale, or through refinancing with an institutional lender. Frequently, larger permanent loans can be obtained once the construction has been completed and the property rented.
Land development loans are generally repaid through the sale of individual lots.
Is Raymond C. Green, Inc. seeking an equity position in my property?
Definitely not. We are strictly lenders who do not seek an equity participation in your venture. Your property is yours and you control it.
